Raaz - The Mystery Continues, directed by Mohit Suri, is a 2009 horror movie starring Emraan Hashmi and Kangana Ranaut in the lead pairs taking over from Bipasha Basu and Dino Morea. However, it is not a sequel to the 2002 movie Raaz. The music is scored by Raju Singh, Pranay M Rijia, Toshi/Sharib & Gourov Dasgupta.

Raaz - The Mystery Continues deals with issues of the “evil within” the human psyche and how it manifests itself.The film is on same lines like the hollywood blockbuster The Omen but it is not a remake. It is based on the myths and superstitions that are still widely existent in the contemporary Indian society. The film attempts to challenge one’s beliefs about paranormal phenomena. It is about anticipation of fear and the fright residing within ones’ self. Emraan Hashmi plays a painter, named Prithvi, who has a extraordinary gift. The paintings tell Kangana Ranaut's future. Incidentally, Kangana plays a supermodel called Nandita in this film, right after Fashion. Adhyayan Suman plays a documentary film-maker named Yash, who dispells and debuks religious superstitions and paranormal beliefs.

Chandni Chowk To China is slated to release on 16th January 2009. It will be directed by Nikhil Advani and stars Akshay Kumar and Deepika Padukone in the lead roles, with Bollywood veteran Mithun Chakraborty and Hong Kong veteran Gordon Liu also playing important roles. The film is the first Bollywood film to be shot in China. The film earlier known as Mera Naam Chin Chin Choo and also Made in China, is written by Sridhar Raghavan who also wrote Khakee (2004) and Bluffmaster (2005).Chandni Chowk to China is said to be semi- autobiographical film portraying actor Akshay Kumar’s life. He himself agreed that about 50% of the film is based on his life. The story is about a chef who is mistaken to be a martial arts expert. Deepika Padukone will be essaying a double role in the film,a Chinese Woman and an Indian Woman. Chinese superstar Gordon Liu will make his Bollywood debut.

An action-comedy about a simple cook (played by Akshay Kumar) from Chandni Chowk mistaken for the reincarnation of an ancient Chinese warrior by the villagers of an oppressed Chinese village. From the hustle-bustle of Chandni Chowk to the hutongs of Beijing, the electric energy of Shanghai and sheer breathtaking Chinese landscapes, Chandni Chowk To China chronicles the lunatic adventures of a hapless simpleton cook from Delhi. As he goes to seek his destiny, he finds himself thrown into a crazy world of megalomaniac villains, femme fatales, crazy inventors, Chinese mysticism and outlandish kung-fu assassins.

The music is by Shankar, Ehsaan and Loy. The movie also features music by Kailash Kher, Bappi Lahiri-Bappa Lahiri and a rap song sung by Akshay Kumar and composed by Punjabi rapper Bohemia.

Kailash Kher also penned the lyrics along with singing the songs of the movie.

Synopsis : Shy quit Amar Kaul lived a mundane run of the mill life-like millions of others. His Existence was non-existent to people around him. And then one day a doctor told him that he will die within 3 months. In a hurry Amar Kaul rushed to make a list of thing to do before he dies...and in the cource of doing them realize that he has been all along untill now except for these three months before he is going to die.

Amar is symbolic of all these people who have always wanted to do things but kept them on hold.
